Thanks to the cooperation of Wind Aid, the democratic school of Huamachuco now installed the first part of the wind energy system. With this projekt the EDHU is the first school in the Andes of La Libertad in Peru that counts with that kind of energy system. We do not now wether there does exist another windmill in 3400 m above sea level but we do not know of any.

After an arduous work we finished the installation after nightfall. We did another step into independence and by the same time we managed to get energy without harming the environment.

We are greatfull to everyone that is part of this projekt, especially the volunteers that come from many different parts of the world like: England, USA, France, Germany, and many more.
